OOTD: White Coat Replay

So I know that my previous OOTD post had the same coat. What can I say, I’m obsessed with it. Just like I am with this look. It is so chique yet not that complicated. I felt in love with this hat from the River Island a while ago, but didn’t really want to buy it since I have way too many hats for the amount of heads I have. But the last time I want to the store, I couldn’t just resist. It was staring at me and begging me to take him home with me. And I did.

Ik weet dat mijn vorige post dezelfde jas had. Maar ik ben gewoon enorm geobsedeerd door deze jas. Net zoals ik ben met deze look. Het is heerlijk chique maar helemaal niet zo gecompliceerd. De hoed is van de River Island. Ik had hem al een hele lange tijd zien liggen en was er veliefd op. Helaas mocht ik van mezelf echt geen nieuwe hoeden kopen, aangezien ik er te veel heb en niet zoveel hoofden heb. Maar toen ik laatst naar de winkel ging kon ik het niet laten. Het was me gewoon aan het aanstaren en smeken om ‘m mee naar huis te nemen met mij. En dat deed ik dan maar.

Beauty: John Frieda Luxurious Volume Hairspray

They all say you love the hair you can’t have. So yes, I love curls and of course I get Asian straight thick hair from my lovely oldies. I’ve almost never curled my hair with a curling iron either, since most of the time it will just be straight again after an hour or so. And while many choose to fix this problem with a kilo hairspray, I can not really handle the touch your hair gets when you do. But after trying many different hair sprays I think I found a very lovely one that might change my life. Or at least my hair: The John Frieda Luxurious Volume Hairspray

So after curling my hair with an iron, I’ve put my hair in rollers. This allows the curls to cool off evenly and will keep the curl longer. After this I’ve sprayed a medium amount of hairspray in it. Believe me I didn’t put a kilo in it, just 3-4 sprays. Then I took a photo of my self and compared this photo with the one I made 12 hours later. The curls didn’t stay perfectly but I didn’t expect that. It did hold the curly hair very well and my hair felt great! I didn’t even feel the hairspray. It really is a miracle that this is possible for my hair but see the results yourself below!

Ze zeggen altijd dat je het haar wil dat je niet hebt. En dat is zo, ik hou van krullen/slag maar heb Aziatisch dik stijl haar gekregen. Ik krul mijn haar ook bijna nooit met een warmtebron aangezien het toch na een uur ongeveer er weer uit is. Nu kan je zeggen dat ik haarspray kan gebruiken, maar ook daar ben ik moeilijk over. Want de structuur die mijn haar dan krijgt vind ik zeer onaangenaam. Maar na verschillende haarsprays te hebben gebruikt denk ik dat ik toch een winnaar heb gevonden!

Nadat ik mijn haar heb gekruld met een stijltang en ze in haarrollen liet afkoelen, heb ik wat John Frieda Luxurious Volume in mijn haar gedaan. Echt niet veel, ongeveer 3-4 spuiten. Ik heb ook netjes wetenschappelijk gewerkt en een foto van mijn haar gemaakt toen het net gestyled was en een foto van na 12 uur. Je ziet dat het niet hélémáal de krul perfect heeft gehouden, maar je ziet toch duidelijk nog wel gekruld haar. En dit is een regelrechte haarwonder. Daarbij zorgt de spray er ook niet voor dat mijn haar stug en hard wordt, maar het heeft nog een super fijne textuur! Ik ben in ieder geval verkocht aan dit product.

En het helpt ook dat ze nu bij de Etos voor 5 euro verkrijgbaar zijn 😉
